The union with Maria Candida Gentile doesn’t come about by chance: it’s all about souls being on the same wavelength and having the same outlook , and feeling the deeper meaning of life ( scents in particular) . The same locations that host the MCG olfactory essences are not just witness to commercial activities, but are places of social exchanges between hosts and guests, liberal territories of beauty. During the summer , four new places were added to the illustrious list of Italian locations: .Ettore in Signoressa (TV), La Bottega nella Ferramenta in Marina di Carrara (MS), Moi Aussi in Colorno (PR) and Brame Assoluta di Bellezza in Modena (MO).

These four locations are the work of women whose common ground is cutting-edge creativity and exceptional awareness , possessing the richness of lives well-travelled, a natural perspicacity, with gutsy and unique entrepreneurial visions ( if not pioneering), unwittingly united by a certain poetry, an open-mindedness towards people and life itself , cornerstones of the MCG philosophy.

In Maria Candida Gentile’s anti-commercial vision, each location and person who represents her become a container where the space grows bigger and time stands still. Ughi’ from Moi Aussi offers an ‘’aperitif for the soul’’ – a welcome cup of tea – to all those who visit her herbalist shop, a real gesture of friendship and unity. Raffaella, the dynamic personality behind .E sense, the ‘’scented house’’ located inside .Ettore, offers an holistic experience to all those who pay a visit, involving reading events, art, social gatherings – and of course perfume, all totally in character with the ahead-of -her -time personality of the owner herself.

Travelling, life experiences and storytelling all blend together in Maria Candida Gentile’s scented nuances, revealed with all the passion of someone who keeps their travels within their soul. Just like Yara from Bottega nella Ferramenta, who has breathed nomadism her whole life, and this emerges in the gorgeous intimate space dedicated to MCG ‘s creations. And Elisa, who designed her space , Brame, as ‘’ an artistic perfumery with a sitting -room’’, a free port where all those travelling souls in search of beauty and wisdom can dock.

These people , these places, these visions match up to the MCG philosophy and interpret it each time in a unique way, brightening the common thread that links them together : our choices are born from empathy, and we choose people; that’s just how we are , and all the rest is consequential.
